Beyond SF I advocate for Sortition regularly with my MP, a government minister at his Advice Surgeries. More recently in November 2018 I wrote to Democrat David Toscano and Senator Creigh Deeds, two Party members of the State of Virginia based in Richmond, Virginia, U.S. to advocate for Sortition as a way to enable their region’s voters to participate in meaningful dialogue and help overcome local issues affecting their vote and their livelihoods. I framed my letter as a series of 9 questions in the context of what Democrat Toscano has said & been doing, in the context of local and global challenges.
