Before joining the Sortition Foundation in March 2021, Will worked to support student democratic development in further education institutions in Scotland, and as a freelance artist and facilitator. When working with students he really began to understand the link between the democratic deficit and climate inaction that led him to explore more deliberative and participative democratic forms.

Will works part-time for Sortition Foundation, and alongside is studying for an MA in Anthropology, teaches yoga and is learning Spanish.
