Despite covid-19, we've started recruiting for two new assemblies at opposite ends of the planet, both of which will occur online.
Starting in July and ending in October, the Kendal Climate Change Citizens' Jury will consist of 20 people, from the ages of 15 and up. Billed as the UK's first wholly online assembly, the recommendations will feed directly into the town council's Carbon Neutral Kendal commissioning group.
The other assembly we're working on is the Warragul Parking Community Panel, consisting of up to 40 members deliberating on the preferred parking solutions in the rural city of Warragul in Victoria, Australia.
