In December we were pleased to work for a second time with the New York City Civic Engagement Commission to select by lottery five representative and diverse Borough Assembly Committees in their citywide participatory budgeting process, The People's Money.
The people we selected will deliberate on ideas generated by residents across the five boroughs. They will work on turning these ideas into concrete proposals to be placed on a ballot. This ballot will then be put to residents in a citywide vote.
For more information on how this participatory budgeting process works, you can read our report on what happened last time.
