Rachel Oliver

Rachel is a campaigner and facilitator with a background in running people-powered campaigns to challenge unjust economic and political systems. She's worked at 38 Degrees and since 2016 at Positive Money, where she works to empower the public to reimagine the money and banking system for the wellbeing of people and our planet. In 2022 she organised a participatory democracy process in partnership with a Cheshire East Council on the cost of living crisis. She believes that participatory democracy is a critical tool for our future to enable communities everywhere to thrive. Away from work she loves to dance, wack tennis balls, sea swim, and trying her hand at comic improvisation.
